When the topic of age comes up some people quickly change the topic. Not comfortable with their age, I guess. Others lie and the problem with that is being consistent. Then you have to be good at math in your head, date of birth, high school and college graduation and era events. To tell one lie might lead to a whole series of lies. It's better to just say 39 and then give that Jack Benny look.
