Impossible to fold is a good feature in my eyes, as I like to keep currency in good condition.
I use a wallet which does not require notes to be folded.

Incidentally, certain coin operated laundry shops have change machines. Some were very slow to be re-programmed to accept the 20 baht polymer notes. I presume this is also a risk with the new 50 & 100 baht notes.

Anyone seen any of these notes yet? I haven't. The ATMs I use are still dispensing the usual notes.

No. All of the red and blue notes in my wallet are paper. All of the green ones are plastic.

I briefly had a red plastic note.
I paid for a meal with it today and it came back in the change to another board member.

As for ATMs, my withdrawals almost always are nothing but brown notes. Perhaps I should try withdrawing amounts ending in 900, or even 950.

The smallest denomination available at ATMs are 100 baht notes. I have been withdrawing 1000 baht notes, 500 baht notes, and 100 baht notes. I still have seen none of the new polymer notes. And I am in no hurry. Nearly all the 20 baht notes I receive in change are polymer and they tend to stick to each other. The new polymer notes will probably do the same. In other words, a pain to make sure what notes you might be handing over.

Of course, when I receive change, if any of the notes are stuck together and I receive too much change, I can do the honest thing and hand back the extra notes. I'll let you folks guess for yourselves if I will . . .

That's exactly what I do, in the rare cases of receiving excess change.
Simple errors are rare, as they often count the change 3 times. I have had rare cases where the staff had total brain fade and have given me more in change than I handed over.

I got my first polymer 100 just yesterday. Only one and still haven't seen the 50 baht.

Sounds like we can expect to start seeing them appearing very soon.

Agreed. One look in the wallet shows plenty of evidence that notes get replaced frequently.
Almost all the 20s are plastic and if we look at the pictures on all the other notes, they all show the current esteemed head of state.
