Actually, my views would depend on the exact wording of the law. Perhaps the laws passed are OK.
Certain countries permit people to change their gender, without having any work done to actually change their gender.
I would be opposed to a total free for all there. I don't think it would be correct to have men declaring themselves as female and using the ladies toilets, the ladies sauna or declaring themselves as female for something where getting the gender correct matters. Such as sport.
By all means declare themselves as female in a social setting.
But to use the ladies toilets etc, this should be based on fact & they should firstly have had the work done down there.
Sport is more complicated. However, the whole purpose of female sport is to allow them to compete in sports where they would not stand a chance against men. So if someone has female body parts fitted and still has the physical capability of a man, this potentially destroys opportunity for female athletes. Which is a bad idea.
