Yes, I'll be happy to write a trip report comparing and contrasting Bangkok and Pattaya after a 17 year absence. I've traveled extensively since my first solo adult trip in 1979 to Europe. I've seen the rise and fall of Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin and Prague. My first Philippines trips started in 1984, followed by my first Thailand trips in 1988. So I've certainly seen changes that left me most unhappy (Philippines)
as well as Amsterdam (I've no reason to return to the Nederlands, except to replace a couple of Delft pieces destroyed in the Northridge earthquake of the early-nineties. You'll hear from me in late-November. Cheers! Surf
