It was one man named Oswald firing a rifle from the Texas Depository Building.
Deciding that there was 'obviously' a dozen (or more) conspiracies around this event is just so American.

I believe it was Oswald acting alone, but I don't see how the conspiracy theories are "just so American." Despite the fact that I believe none of them, I can understand why people, whether American or not, would find it very difficult that this bizarre nobody could manage to kill the president, and do so completely on his own.

While Oliver Stone's film 'JFK' contains a lot of nonsense, one point was brought out that I think has contributed to conspiracy theories - the "why."

Donald Sutherland's portrayal of "Mr. X" brings home, I believe, why so many people believe in the conspiracy theories rather than Oswald acting alone.

Now I've said already we NEVER talk about it.

I'm being a bit tongue in cheek so don't think too seriously. ;)

One question that I never see addressed about the Kennedy assassination - The man who drove him to work that morning said Oswald was carrying a long package. When he asked Oswald what was in the package, his answer was curtain rods.

If it was really curtain rods, or something other than a rifle, what became of the curtain rods or whatever else was in the package?

To my knowledge, nothing was ever found except the rifle. To me, that's more evidence pointing directly to Oswald as the shooter and he acted alone. Unless the man was lying about Oswald carrying a package at all, then to me that makes it obvious that Oswald wasn't set up. If the man was lying and Oswald was not carrying a package that morning, how did Oswald's rifle get to the book depository?

Suppose it really was curtain rods. If Oswald was being set up, how would anyone have known he would be carrying a wrapped package that morning? If it was curtain rods, where did they end up? I know of no investigation that showed he ever bought curtain rods in the first place.

It wasn't curtain rods. It was the rifle.
