Japan is also famous for its onsen=hot water (volcanic) springs. The town of Beppu on the south island of Kyushu is famous for it-and also for other activities that Pattaya is also quite famous for.
At least in Europe most sauna's operate as ''pay on entry'' for as long as you stay-often on the continent named wellness. If you want you can provide yourself for payment for additional services.
In Thailand that concept is/was unknown-you pay for a load of services and are being treated/pampered all the while.
However this onsen now also offers just entry (450 bt) with additional extra's, which seem quite expensive (massage well over 1000 bt/hr). Its strictly separate sex- so Pattaya's biggest business can stay out. And it's a general admission-not that typical gay sauna.
Name is Yunomori Onsen, site http://yunomorionsen.com, located along Thepprasit rd between sois 9-11. They started in BKK near to the JPNese K-Village, just beyond the old Carrefour, Now BigC-Jumbo across Tesco Klong Toey. This place is much smaller and overcrowded Sundays.
