Do you get annoyed, as I do, when a TV series you've been watching and enjoying gets cancelled, and they don't at least make a finale? I hate it when it's a show I liked, have been loyally watching, and it just suddenly ends and leaves you hanging.
Three shows I liked have been cancelled:
Forever
State of Affairs
Stalker
No finale for any of them. #@*%$@#&% !
I don't know why they do that. Finale shows usually get very high ratings. For example, one of the most viewed shows ever in the USA was the finale of M*A*S*H.
Many years ago, my home was selected as a Neilsen Rating home. They told me my home was randomly selected. I agreed to let them do it. Now MY voice was going to be 'heard' for a change. It was long ago and I don't remember whether they paid anything, but I would have gladly let them do it for free. Once I agreed and signed their paperwork a crew showed up at my home, set up their equipment, and now everything I watched became part of their data. Even when it was a show I liked, but wasn't going to be home to watch it, I still made sure my TV was on and was on the right channel. I, of course, have no idea how much influence my choices had on their ratings, but George Bush won the presidency over Al Gore by how many votes in Florida . . . ?

Re: TV show cancellations - and no finale
Glad to know these three series have no finale. I won't be starting them.
