Re: Bread Machine
You can make those same recipes without a bread machine. I don't have one and I make all kinds of breads. I taught my bf to make the white bread we eat every morning for breakfast. He makes 2 loaves on average of once a week, He loves doing it.

Re: Bread Machine
I'm embarrassed to say I forgot all about it and never did.thaiworthy wrote:Did you ever get that bread slicer?
Yes, but you enjoy doing that and I'm sure you end up with a much higher quality loaf of bread. For me, I like it much better when I can just toss the ingredients into the machine, turn it on, and the next thing I know, there's my loaf of bread.lvdkeyes wrote:You can make those same recipes without a bread machine. Re: Bread Machine
I had a bread machine when I was in the US and didn't really like the shape of the loaves or the weird hole in the bottom, so I would set it for dough only, take it out of the machine, form it and bake it in the oven.
Re: Bread Machine
I don't like weird holes either. It's tough to find a good bottom these days.lvdkeyes wrote:I had a bread machine when I was in the US and didn't really like the shape of the loaves or the weird hole in the bottom, so I would set it for dough only, take it out of the machine, form it and bake it in the oven.
