June events throughout Thailand

Post by Gaybutton »

Even if you are not interested, I sometimes see posts on the various boards from people looking for suggestions for gifts for their favorite young gents. Taking him, or sending him, to some of these events might be very meaningful for him - far more than anything you might buy in a store as a gift or by just handing him some cash.

No mention of Pattaya Pride at the end of June? I thought it was supposed to be a big event. I've never been but thinking of going this year; will Boyztown and Supertown have special shows featuring manly men or will the fay boys take centre stage?

My guess is there will be both.

That would be great! I'm fine with both - in fact on my last visit I saw how hard the fay boys in Supertown were working on their numbers and really appreciated their efforts. But it would be nice to see some macho boys performing too.

Does traffic in Pattaya become crazier than usual during the entire three days of Pride or only during certain events?

I had to look that up in a dictionary. Apparently, "Fay" is an American word for fairy. Is that the meaning in this context ?

From what I've seen in pictures of past events, lady boys would hog the limelight. Perhaps photos give a misleading impression & the event is actually better than that.

Yes, that is what "fay" means, although it is a word very seldom used.
