Surprised no one has mentioned this new restaurant in Pastrami on Rye's old location. Jim from the old POR has remodeled and opened this place with a Hawaiian theme but still has old favorites from POR. It is more for a breakfast and lunch place as it is not open late. Great sandwiches and burgers with a very friendly new staff. They have a FB page. I suspect the low prices are introductory as a burger, soft drink, and one side (try the baked beans!) was only 240 baht. They have added Thai food to the menu too.

This evening RichLB, a non-board friend, and I tried Big Kahuna. We were all pleased.
I tried the Moco burger and really enjoyed it. They bake the hamburger buns right there on the premises - much better than before. The sandwiches also come with a side. I had the onion rings. They were good and crispy. The orders include a soft drink as part of the price.
We all enjoyed it and will be back.
For deliveries, Jim - the owner (If you've been there when it was Pastrami on Rye, you'll recognize him) said he'll start deliveries as soon as he can find a delivery person who he can rely on. So far, no luck.

I had the pancake breakfast there yesterday morning - very good and reasonably priced. I hope he gets his home delivery up and running soon. I used to order their Burger delivered in the evenings when I didn't feel like going out or cooking - along with one of their craft beers - porter being my favorite.

Big Kahuna has bitten the dust. This evening I passed by. It is closed and there is a big sign "Business for Sale" and a telephone number.

The 'For Sale' sign has been in place for a while now. As far as I can tell they still open during the day, but are closed before 5pm.
