Dear all,

I went to the Kebabist today.

It is very near to where I live - it is just outside the Jomtien Supertown Complex on the Jomtien Second Road between the entrance to Supertown (Zing Resort) and where Thappraya Road intersects with Jomtien Second Road.

I had the Chicken Malai Tikka (240 baht) - which was excellent. The chicken was so tender and picked up all of the wonderful spices in the yogurt & cream sauce. It was served with complimentary roasted papad - popodoms.
In hindsight, I should have ordered some tasty Naan Bread to soak up all of that juicy tasty cream -- but I forgot to order it.

My lunch was so good that I ordered a Mutton Galouti Kebab (350 baht) to go - which I will eat later tonight.

When I was paying my bill, I told the owner and his wife that the food was excellent. I asked them why doesn't the big menu offer Indian desserts (or any desserts for that matter). He explained to me that they will have Indian desserts once he can get his Chef from India through our favorite Jomtien Immigration :>)))

So enjoy and know that it will get even better and more delicious once the Chef arrives.

Cheers,

M.

Are you sure about Foodpanda? I tried to find them on Foodpanda, but no matter what spelling variations I came up with, I couldn't find them.

Do you know what to look for on Foodpanda? They're easy to find on Grab, but I prefer Foodpanda because Foodpanda offers vouchers and discounts much more often than I am ever able to find on Grab.

In any case, I'm glad it turns out to be good. I'll give it a try very soon.

Hi GB,

You are right - The Kebabist does not appear in the FoodPanda app.
I wrote to the owners via Line and they stated that there is a technical error in the FoodPanda portal which renders their restaurant as not being visible.

Here is the official response that they gave me via Line:

"I spoke to customer care guys day before yesterday they said 3-5 days so may be couple of days. I am sure the issue will be rectified".

ok GB, fingers crossed for a happy resolution for The Kebabist with FoodPanda.

Cheers,

Martin

p.s. I ate my take away for dinner last night - Mutton Galouti Kebab - and it was wonderful.

Hi GB,

The owner of The Kebabist just informed me via Line that they should now be visible in FoodPanda.

Could you please check?

I don't have FoodPanda.

Cheers,
M.

I just checked. It is not there.

Ask him exactly how it is listed and spelled.

Hi GB,

I downloaded the FoodPanda app onto my phone.

I am able to see The Kababist - I share the link below from my FoodPanda app.

Hopefully you will be able to see it now.
