I see the same people on 2 boards at the same time. Do they really have that much to say or are they just trolling along, often using 2 different handles?

I for one stay logged in on the boards...
easier for me to view whenever I wish.

Most boards show members as being online even they're not actually online. This board displays you as being online even though you may have left 5 minutes ago. Both Sawatdee and Ting & Tong, using the same basic software as I use, shows you as being online even though you may have left up to an hour ago. So does the Gay Thailand board. The amount of time the boards will display you as being present is controllable by the board administrator. I have this board set for only 5 minutes because I fail to see any reason for the display to last longer than that.

The board software is set up that way. I suppose the software author figured people want to see who has recently been there. Outside of that, I have no idea.
