If you think that's bad, try to imagine Banglamung Hospital or any Thai government hospital - all of which are far worse.
To me, finding myself in a ward like that would be just as bad as the disease. If this disease continues to escalate that might be exactly what happens, even in the best of hospitals. If private or even semi private rooms are still available, that might not last long.
To tell the truth, if I ever get the virus, I hope I get it while decent hospital rooms are still available. If the disease kills me, at least I wouldn't have to die while already in Hell.
And hospitals still have to contend with every other problem that brings patients too. The world's medical facilities are just not prepared for a situation like this. If nothing else, I hope they've learned a bitter lesson and will be much better prepared when the next inevitable pandemic sooner or later happens.
