interesting letter from thai foreign ministry

Post by gera »

The viewpoint of Thai foreign Ministry with which I totally agree. As anecdotal evidence, in our condo Chinese tourists rent tiny condos from Chinese owners putting 6-8 people into each. In this way, they save on hotels and profit goes to chinese owners. Rents are usually short term in violation of Thai laws and our condo renting rules.

Seems as if usually if there is a wrong way to do things, that's how they will be done.

I would think Visa free access for Indian tourists would be barking mad, particularly in view of the reports of false documentation used in visa applications.
Thai GDP per capita is about 3.5x that of India & to many rational people Thailand would be a more desirable country to move to.
