Good news for me: https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/genera ... ilom-fetes
Exactly how this plays out is to be seen but I applaud the effort. The Balcony Newsletter also has announced that Silom soi 4 will be a no water splash zone. Security hired to enforce it.
I'm noticing a lot of restaurants in Bangkok will be closed from around 10 April to 19.

In Pattaya Boystown is always a no water splash zone too. Of course, getting there might be a problem for those who hate getting splashed.

The Thai Authorities have done an Emily Litella never mind The party on Silom and Khaosan is on, so go if you're nuts or avoid if sane. They're setting up and boarding up now. Young gayish Asians have ascended on Bangkok ready to party.
