Gay themed movies

I ran across this web site - they currently have 319 gay themed movies (not porn) available for streaming - many are Asian with English subtitles (likewise with their other movies that are in German, French, etc.). Some are relatively new and others are older movies that many of us may have seen, but would like to revisit -- Wedding Banquet, My Beautiful Laundrette, Trick, etc. - several Thai movies such as Bangkok Love Story and Water Boys.

If you have software or browser add-ons for downloading videos, you can save the movie to disk. I use a Fire Fox add on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... oadhelper/

Thanks for this 2lz2p. I'm on my second movie now. The streaming is excellent (better than YouTube) and the choices - specifically the asian gay films - are wide.
'My Beautiful Launderette', 'Happy Together', and 'The Wedding Banquet' are three huge favourites of mine which are now hard to find in full size and eng subs when needed (in the case of 'Happy Together').

You can download them, but you need an extra piece of software (add-on/plugin/extension) for your browser. Have a look at the OP again for an example.

As Alex mentions and I did in the original post - you can download them - in my case I use Firefox Browser and posted the link to the location where you can get the video download add in for Firefox - it works great! I downloaded the Wedding Banquet to an external USB drive, it is one of my favorite gay themed movies - plugged the USB drive into my WD Media player and watched it on the big screen TV. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I have also downloaded a few others from this site, but not watched them yet - and there are many more that I will probably download in the future.

RE: 'The Wedding Banquet'
One minor point about this movie which I only just found out on the Manga website was that the movie was made in 1993! Good lord, where has time gone ... for some odd reason I would have thought it was made in the late 90's at the very least.
Ang Lee also a very favourite director, but for all the awards and kerfuffle around his 'Brokeback Mountain', I preferred 'The Wedding Banquet' by a small margin.

Thanks 2lz2p. I just watched The Wedding Banquet - what a wonderful, funny, sad, poignant movie. It inspires me to watch more. I haven't seen a whole lot of gay movies. The Thai ones I've seen have usually had me smiling in disbelief at how bad they are.

They have another of my favorites, "Trick" - it is humorous and I found it a joy to watch several years ago before I moved to Thailand - I downloaded it from this website and will watch it again soon. I noticed that the website has "In & Out" which was a fairly popular mainstream film - so they may have another of my favorites "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," but I haven't looked through all 300+ titles to see if that is the case.

Did a quick search but couldn't see it. I see yet another Thai gay movie is opening next month. Boy Friend. I think we must be getting close to a time when gay themed movies will out number Thai horror films.
