New Harley Davidson Dealership Opens in Pattaya

Post by Undaunted »

Went there today impressive place. The owner a nice English guy urged me to testdrive the opening price point bike a 700cc bike licensed to be made in India of all places 495,000bht, when I returned he anxiously awaited my opinion I asked him if he really wanted the truth he said he did I replied, it drove like a meat grinder hence the name "chopper".

Nothing against these noise machines -- in the right place -- not on public roads.
How about someone setting up a sort of go-cart track for them away from the places people want to live?

I've heard and subscribe to that, Undaunted - but as HD bikes come off the line already roaring at a standard 80Db without the modifications many owners make to them (for whatever reason, no need to go there now) to make them even louder - it's noise pollution, pure and simple. I have no objections to scooters/cycles of any type on public streets if they're driven safely with courtesy, but that noise... ouch.

With all that silly moaning about noise, you guys really tempt me to buy one! Riding it knowing that I piss off the same kind of people who whine about noise (or, heaven forbid, tobacco smoke!) in bars and nightclubs will be priceless.
