I know why it didn't work for you. The online system requires that you submit the report within 15 working days of the due date, but at least 7 working days before the due date. Today is the 16th and you said your report is due on the 20th. That is less than 7 working days, so you were a few days too late.2lz2p wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 4:04 pmI tried it this afternoon, my report is due 20 December. I made several attempts at different times, including using a different computer. I also tried with 3 different browsers, Firefox, Edge, & Chrome. Each time after entering all the required data, the CAPTCHA code, and then clicking submit --I continue to get the message to contact Immigration.
That part at the beginning, where you have to scroll down and place a check mark in the "accept" box, includes "This processing time begins when the Immigration has received your completed application form within 7 working days."
My guess is most people don't bother reading the whole thing and simply didn't realize about the deadline. Also, it is not worded very well and can easily be confusing enough to make people think the rule is the exact opposite of what it actually is. Again, the rule is - within 15 working days of the due date, but more than 7 working days before the due date.
The part currently on my "I Don't Get It" list is why the deadline is 7 working days before the due date. Considering most of us have been getting our approvals within a few hours of submitting the report, why the 7 day deadline? Nevertheless, that's the rule.
Let us know what happens. You'll definitely have to pay a fine. I hope nothing worse than that.
