With no one to throw water at, they won't be missing too much.
This time last year the main roads feeding into Buriram were jammed packed with people returning home to celebrate with their families. I went out for a spin this morning and spotted 2 guys on motorbikes, maybe 3 or 4 for cars max, and and three-legged German Shepard chasing a cat.
There will be a lot of quiet drunks up here in Isaan next week.
