Baht strengthens: https://www.nationthailand.com/business/30383152
This is just Normal Variation. Look at the range.

During the week of March 2-6, KBank expects the baht to move within a range of Bt31.40-31.90/USD. The Average = 31.65, which is exactly where it had climbed to a week ago.

The daily exchange rates will fluctuate like a roller coaster due to people's fears about the coronavirus, but the Average of the range is what shows us the trend. And the trend (monthly, not minute by minute) still shows a weakening baht.

"The Nation" has a tendency to create perceptions.

K-Bank buying rate today 31.7.

The trend still shows the baht weakening. 32.5 in 2020 appears highly probable due to the impact of the coronavirus...China's economy getting crippled......rebounding U.S. stock markets...lower U.S. interest rates (ZERO)...and the fact that tourists aren't going to be returning to Thailand any time soon. Evan those dirty white farnag who don't wash their clothes or wear face masks.

The baht weakened to 33 to U.S dollar today. Trend continues.

With the collapsing economy - 34 seems likely (at least to me) in the second quarter.

Now, how do say "thank you" in Chinese

I guess now we're in a race to see which weakens the most, the fastest - the baht or the dollar.

Maybe the dollar will strengthen once Trump is finished killing people.

I transferred money in - sent Monday by TransferWise, arrived Tuesday - exchange rate 32.405. I just now checked TW's rate - going down but was still above 32 (32.200 guaranteed for next 70 hours if I had planned to send).
