The ratio of westerners to Chinese, Indians, Arabs etc will vary according to where the photos are taken.
Walk down through Jomtien Complex or Sunee at night and there will be a higher proportion of westerners. I think it's the same around all the girlie hostess bars and on places like Soi Bukhao.
I generally avoid walking street, but imagine it's on all of the Chinese guided tours.
