I would have thought Thailand is better placed than some other countries to cope with a financial downturn.
Government debt as a percentage of GDP is below 60%. That compares very favourably with the US and UK.
The Thai government has introduced measures to try and cool off the property market. Well done to them. Compare with the US, where the half wit president has introduced unfunded stimulus measures when the US already had reasonable growth and too much debt.
