A UK millionaire and his Thai wife, both aged 64, who had built a luxury property for themselves in the northern Phrae Province have been found dead after being missing for a week. The bodies were found buried in their property. Alan Hogg from Edinburgh had been shot. His wife killed with a hammer blow.
Three men have been arrested. Allegedly they were hired to commit the murders by the wife's brother who has also been arrested.
"The motive for the killings was a long-running internal family conflict, feuds and property," local police commander Manas Kerdsukho told the AFP news agency.
