A friend recently had pointed out a Vietnamese Restaurant on 3rd road as we passed by. Yesterday, returning from Dr appt and trip to Fascino's via 3rd road it was about lunch time. So we gave it a try. It is open air w/fans - seating for about 50.
Menu had several items with pictures - prices range generally from 40 B to 250 B. We ordered Nem nướng cuốn (Rice paper rolls with grilled pork skewers served with green leaf, mint leaf, chopped garlic, chilis, cucumber, etc. and peanut sauce). Small order - 4 skewers is 120 B - you put meat etc in rice paper and wrap it then wrap that with a green leaf. I wanted to try the Pho (noodle soup - 55B), but bf wanted the deep fried fish w/spicy sauce - 250 B (two fried fish on menu - everything else appears to be below 200B). Both dishes were very good. Next time, I will try Pho in hopes it is not the Thai version (Saigon Bistro in Central Festival is good and served with Vietnam condiments rather than only Thai condiments as I have found at Halong Bay - front of Furama Hotel on Jomtien Beach Road).
It is located between Pattaya Nua (North Rd) and Pattaya Klang (Central Rd). Traveling South it will be on the right hand side opposite D'OR SPA (CIMB Bank and Dr Dog are on left after the SPA opposite vacant lot which is on right after the restaurant). Restaurant name is Porn Namnieng.

We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of times and have enjoyed it. It is across the road from La Boulange bakery where you can get exceptional croissants.

Go north on Third Road - pass Central Road (Pattaya Klang). It's just beyond the Third Road access road to Big C X-tra.

I have visited this restaurant a few times. I just hate the way the waiters don't leave you alone to eat your meal. Food ok, but nothing to write home about.
