And he totally confounded the Germans with that reply.....which caused enough of a delay in the reaction of the Germans to give Patton's tanks enough time to arrive to relieve the surrounded city. Nowadays, I'd suppose there would be less confusion as to a General's response as just about everybody understands "go fuck yourself!"
