Only curiosity!

Post by lvdkeyes »

I am curious to know how many take a low dosage aspirin daily and those who don't, why not?

I do. Wouldn't this question have been better done as a poll?

Since 18 people have viewed it and you are the only one to respond, isn't it a moot point?

I don't. I don't take any medicine (or medicine like substances, vitamines, food supplements). I believe in "an apple a day keeps the doctor away", i.e. with normal healthy food you don't need anything else.

A low dose aspirin a day is recommended for people over 50, so I think you have a while to consider it.

This is absolutely correct. Hippocrates said "Let food be thy medicine."

What about vaccines? Antibiotics for infections and STDs? Anesthesia for dental work?
Fluoride in toothpaste?

Do you know what foods are high enough in Vit K to provide the same benefit as aspirin for those people who are at risk for a heart attack? Diabetic men over 50 are one of the high risk groups, but aspirin therapy should not be started without a doctor's advice.

yes but he said this a few weeks before he really understood infectious diseases and genetic pre-disposition and a few other minor issues!

how many doctors still treat AIDS, diabetes, or most other diseases based on a knowledge of the four humors?
