Their numbers have fallen since the boat accident in Phuket where many Chinese drowned.
They bring with them a lack of manners as to how to act at Thai religious sites, hotels, restaurants etc.
In Pattaya the buses that carry them create huge traffic problems.
A large part of their trip is paid for in China not Thailand.
No doubt they are the future for the Thai tourism industry but at what cost? If you ask local Thais they have little good to say about the situation.
