Steakhouse Co., Bangkok

Post by Trongpai »

This is in my opinion and experience is the best Steak House in Thailand. It's relatively new and the word is not out there yet but I expect after a while it will get popular and advance reservations will be necessary. Right now it's not real busy. Probably due to low season and a rather strange location on Patpong 2 next to Foodland and across from a ladyboy bar. It's not a very big place and as I left this evening they were setting up a table for 15.

It's also a custom butcher shop and you can take raw steaks home if you have a decent grill.

It rates in the top 10 for Trip Advisor but since it's new there's not a lot of reviews yet. I've been to most on top 10 list and I would put this on par with the District Room but at around half the price.

Yea, I noticed that too. Some of it opens. It's a steak house and they have different cuts of steaks either US prime or Australian. No Thai/French beef. Sides like potatoes, soups and salads. Full bar with lots of imported and craft beers. The manager is French (I think) but it's more like an American style steak house. It would do fine and fit in any major US city.

Closed and interior gutted. Too bad it was really good. For steaks you have Arno's all over the place and The District Room On Suk.

Arno's started as a hole in the wall off Rama 3 in Bangkok around 6 years ago and now has 19 restaurants in Bangkok, Pattaya and elsewhere.
