Sunee Plaza fairly busy Feb 13, 2018

Post by Pattayamale »

Even though I would not be called a frequent customer in Sunee Plaza, I do go a few times each month.
Last night was my first visit to Winner Bar since the grand opening.
I went in before 8:30 and surprised at the large number of dancers. Shortly afterwards more customers started to trickle in and soon the top seating was full and customers started to sit in the second row when I left at 9:45.
When I went outside it was great to see that most bars on that street were also fairly full of customers.
Maybe I have missed seeing this the last couple months. But great to see for the bar owners that have survived the drought.

That would have been a Sunday. Doubleshot closed. Always looks bleak.

Which makes me think that if Doubleshot ever closed (heaven forbid) it would make the whole place look deserted.

Let’s hope that never happens.

Could be due to the road work being done in Boystown, some of the customers/clients are checking out Sunee Plaza.

I don't recall a second row of seats in Winner on my last visit 4 weeks ago... are the second row a new permanent fixture?
I remember them being in Jim Jimmy James, but they had been removed during one of the last renovations.

I think he means the seats adjacent to the main row of seats.

No, they are removable chairs.

Good to hear they have added additional seating
Myself and a friend had to walk away on 2 separate occasions in Mid Jan as there was no seating available
