South Pattaya a Summer of Discontent

Post by Undaunted »

Realizing now that the young Arab invaders invade mostly during the summer months South Pattaya remains a place unlike anything in the greater Pattaya area. In and around Tuk Com is a daily parade of the most interesting if bizarre looking people to be seen anywhere. As for the evenings, Sunee ebbs and flows are different on any given night, I must confess I do love it as opposed to things I've said in the past....now only to find an escape for those 3 summer months of the young Arab invasion.

Hear, hear! I'm glad to hear you've not completely fallen out of love with your "hood". Finding a summer escape sounds manageable.

Hi Alex, I am also thinking of leaving Asia for the summer and would like to try something different, am currently looking at Timisoara which is the second largest city in Romania and of all things has a Viennese (not Vietnamese) influence, lol.

That's an interesting choice, at the very least, I will admit that I had never even heard the name of that town before you mentioned it. If you like Vienna, another interesting choice I'm more familiar with might be Bratislava. I'm a bit biased because a very special ex of mine comes from there, but that aside, I think that the proximity to Vienna is a big plus. That and the beer.

After spending a few days there, I found Timisoara was OK, but I wouldn't want to spend 3 months there. Cluj was more fun.

You gents are coming up with places I, for one, have never even heard of. Instead of merely mentioning them, how about some details.

Just think "Gypsies, tramps, and thieves" with a lot less humidity.

I found the gay scene to be extremely quiet, to the extent where it was almost nothing. I did fix up one Gay Romeo date.

When you are bored, at least you can take the train to Bucharest.
