I've been happily using my Magicjack phone device for about a year. Now I've run into a mystery I can't resolve. If anyone has a clue as to what is going on I'd appreciate you helping me out.
With the Magicjack I can call the US - any area code - with no problem. But, there is one number with a 810 area code that does something strange. When calling that number, from my end I hear it ring twice and then it just hangs up. At my friend's end, there is no ringing whatsoever. Oddly, my friend can call me and the Magicjack works perfectly. Adding to the mystery, I have another friend with an 810 area code and there is no problem connecting to his phone. Does anyone have a clue what is going on and how we might fix this? If so, please send some help my way.
