Re: Dentist Recommendations
Based on a recommendation my bf and I went to see Dr. Nan for check up and cleaning. He is located off Jomtien Beach Rd between Soi 11 & 12. Phone-0824751982 or 0812601762. We were both happy with his care, but my bf said he probably has a hard time keeping staff as he was very rude to them (in Thai).
Re: Dentist Recommendations
Thanks for the 2 suggestions. I will see if I can convince him to go.
I mentioned it to him this morning and he was unconvinced, so say the least.

Re: Dentist Recommendations
I also took my Thai bf to Dr. Nan and he, the bf, had no problem with his treatment. I also have had success with Dr. Nan. You can google his name and view his website.
Re: Dentist Recommendations
Here is a recent recommendation for a Pattaya dentist
as sent to me this week in reply to another expats need for a dentist:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found the information for your friend,
Dr, Tapasit Prapawiwat

TravelerJim asked me if I knew of a good dentist in Pattaya who I could recommend to you.
I and a couple of my friends have used Dr. Tapasit Prapawiwat, whose office is located across from Dolphin Circle in North Pattaya.
He was trained at Georgetown Dental School in USA and practiced dentistry in the USA for seven years.
Obviously, he speaks English like a native speaker and is very competent. He is also a nice and likeable guy.
His father (a retired surgeon) and mother live in New Jersey, USA.
You can read his bio and get a detailed map to his office at www.studiosmilethailand.com.

Re: Dentist Recommendations
I am heading to Dr. Nan (on this board's suggestion) for myself and my boyfriend. Online, he has been extremely friendly and helpful. I will write back after the appointment with my practical experience.
Thanks,

Re: Dentist Recommendations
I have used the services of Dr. Nan over the last two years and can highly recommend him.
Re: Dentist Recommendations
As promised I am writing a follow up to my visit with Dr. Nan. First off, I have to say that I was quite surprised with his lack of bedside manner and relatively nonexistant personality. That being said though, ultimately I was not looking for a friend or entertainer but rather a good dentist. Dr. Nan is certainly that. His facilities are clean, modern and efficient. His prices are more than fair and his English is excellent. Just be cautioned that he is very dry and not super friendly.
All in all I would recommend him and intend to continue using his services.
