Rich Man-Poor Man has introduced 200 baht dinner specials and deliveries to the Jomtien area.

The dinner specials are available Monday through Friday and will change every Monday. Eddie, the owner, gave me a copy of the dinner special menus for September 14-18 and September 21 to 25:

All meals include ONE trip to the salad bar

1. Stuffed chicken with spinach, mushroom, and Parmesan
Served with potato and vegetable

2. Pork schnitzel, brown sauce
Mashed potato and vegetable

3. Baked stuffed shrimp, crabmeat stuffing & garlic butter sauce
Brown rice and vegetable

4. Stir fried top sirloin of beef and vegetables over brown rice

5. Pan seared duck breast a l'orange (50 baht extra)
Served with brown rice and vegetables
Monday, September 21 - Friday September 25

All meals include ONE trip to the salad bar

Served 5pm to 9pm

1. Breaded deep fried shrimp, cocktail sauce
Potato and vegetable

Just to clarify...The deliveries do not include the 200 baht dinner specials. They are for the regular menu only, but until Nov. 1 there is no delivery charge.

I ordered delivery last night - Eddie took the order and also did the delivery with his wife - he said he was trying to get her familiar with the Jomtien area. He also gave me his new menu, which has slightly increased prices from his website menu. Also, his menu notes that the prices do not include the 7% VAT which is added.

The added VAT doesn't bother me - I'm just happy that now I can order home delivery and enjoy my favorites from RMPM when I don't feel like cooking or going out - that being Chicken Fried Steak and Meat Loaf. In the past, we would go to RMPM or I would send bf to order those items for take out -- we would then split the main items between us half and half. My bf likes some farang food and really likes those two items.

RMPM now charges a 30 baht service fee on home delivery - reasonable IMO.
