I have gone by the Mokador Café on Thrappraya Rd...opposite the big boat yard
It appears to have CLOSED.
NOT open for several days and heard from other Thai in area they saw tables & chairs being taken out.
It was a favorite of mine for their fine breakfasts and coffee too.
Sign of the difficult times many small businesses are having in Pattaya.

Re: Mokador Cafe South Pattaya CLOSED
It kinda goes to show what a fabulous job the powers-that-be in Pattaya are doing in their efforts to attract foreign visitors. They're doing great at attracting Chinese visitors, but the Chinese are not interested in many of the places we're seeing go belly up.travelerjim wrote:Sign of the difficult times many small businesses are having in Pattaya.
Remember when they were going to make Pattaya into a family oriented holiday spot? Seen very many foreign kids lately? I haven't. From what I've observed over the years, Pattaya would have been much better off business-wise if the officials had just left things alone. But nooooo. Instead they have to come up with all these bright ideas - and I'm still waiting to see any of them actually work.
