Damn! That is bad news. I wish I could understand why so many restaurants I had always enjoyed were sold and then the new owners turned them to garbage. At least in Pattaya Pastrami-on-Rye makes a hamburger I really like, but even theirs is not as good as Firehouse was.

Now that you recommend Dean & Deluca's, a restaurant I never heard of until your post, you said their hamburger is pricey. How pricey is pricey? What does a hamburger cost there? What does it come with?

Let the hunt for a reasonably priced, really good Bangkok hamburger begin!

I can't recall exactly but in the neighborhood of 500B by itself. Side dishes are extra. There's just one option for toppings but I guess you can eliminate anything you don't like as they are made to order.
