I was reading the Sawatdee board this morning and spotted the following topic:

This restaurant is getting rave reviews on Sawatdee. I'll be trying it soon.
It is in Jomtien Complex.
If anyone has been there or goes there to try it, please post a review.

Tinnies has been open for ages. They have savory and sweet pies and any that I have tried have been excellent. It is where Sunrise Tacos was located.

If you're British or Australian you likely love it. If you're American you might like it, I do. If you're Continental you might not like it. In other words it's very British but having spent quite a lot of time in the UK I've acquired the taste for British pies but they are not exactly the same as I recall but close. Perhaps it more Australian authentic?

Yesterday evening RichLB, another friend, and I ate at Tinnies. Both had eaten there before, but for me it was my first time. We all enjoyed it.
I had the Chicken Mornay pie and the Steak and Kidney pie (one of my British favorites).
I was a bit surprised they didn't also have Shepherd's pie. That's a favorite of mine too. Sometimes I make it at home.
We noticed several people came in and picked up pie to take away, apparently to heat & eat at home.
If you're in the mood for good British pub food, Tinnies is the place to go.

Makro sells frozen packages of ground lamb. That's what I've been using when I make Shepherd's Pie. I usually have enough ground lamb left over to later make 'lamb burgers' or maybe another Shepherd's Pie.
I like this recipe:
