Captain Kirk wrote:I'd recommend the Vietnam War series also. It has been running in the Uk the past couple of months and is highly rated.

I was only able to watch the episodes up to the Tet offensive, where the North Vietnamese outfoxed Westmoreland's strategy well in advance just as they had with the French at Dien Bien Phu. I hope the Series is either aired here or I can get the DVDs on Silom.

Revealed - wind catches Trump's hair as he boards Air Force 1 and shows large bald patch! No, folks! It's not fake news.

The worst thing about Trump is he selected Pence to be his VP. Pence made an ass of himself yesterday in S Korea and people saw once again that he is a Bigot against the LGBTQ community and possibly some other communities.

Getting rid of the Dope President gets us a Bigot and a Liar who is smarter and much more dangerous!

In a way, that reminds me of something that happened during World War 2. The story was that Winston Churchill was presented with a viable plan to assassinate Hitler. Churchill rejected the plan, saying Hitler was making so many military blunders that keeping him alive to continue making blunders would be the best course of action.

Maybe this helps explain Democrats "treasonous" behavior during Trump’s SOTU.
Trump budget trifecta: Plan aims to gut Obamacare, roll back Medicaid expansion, cut Medicare.

I don't know why you say that. After all, Trump is doing such a fine job of making America great again . . .

".... our thoughts and prayers..." are with the people who have suffered in Florida, say the politicians who have been bought off by the NRA(3 million dollars in Rubio's case). What a bunch of crap. Politicians can't even pass simple bump stock regulations because of the NRA. And of course, zero leadership from the White House.

This man says it quite well. And when he is asked for a response to Rubio saying it's too early to talk about it, this man responded by saying, "It's always too early . . . until it's too late." I think he's absolutely right.:

Anybody think Trump or a Republican congress is going to do anything about it? The Second Amendment to the US Constitution says, "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Nothing seems very 'well regulated' to me.

I know something they can do about it, but I also know there is no way it will ever happen - not in our lifetimes, anyway. Do the same thing to the Second Amendment as was done to the 18th Amendment. Repeal it.
