2% or 98%
This is strange...can you figure it out?
Are you the 2% or 98% of the population?
Follow the instructions! NO PEEKING AHEAD!
* Do the following exercise, guaranteed to raise an eyebrow.
* There's no trick or surprise.
* Just follow these instructions, and answer the questions one at a time and as quickly as you can!
* Again, as quickly as you can but don't advance until you've done each of them .. really.
* Now, scroll down (but not too fast, you might miss something).
Think of a number from 1 to 10
Multiply that number by 9
!
If the number is a 2-digit number, add the digits together
Now subtract 5
Determine which letter in the alphabet corresponds to the number you ended up with
(example: 1=a, 2=B, 3=c,etc.)
Think of a country that starts with that letter
Remember the last letter of the name of that country
Think of the name of an animal that starts with that letter
Remember the last letter in the name of that animal
!
Think of the name of a fruit that starts with that letter
! ; Are you thinking of a Kangaroo in Denmark eating an Orange ?
I told you this was FREAKY!! If not, you're among the 2% of the population whose minds are different enough to think of something else. 98% of people will answer with kangaroos in Denmark when given this exercise.

Re: MIND GAME
You are right. Freaky it is! I have to check this out more carefully. I am firmly in the 98%!
Re: MIND GAME
Same here.
DON'T READ THE REST OF THIS IS YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN THE TEST YET!
[There are obvious reasons why it happens......because everybody ends up with the same number, same country, etc. I was going to spell it out a little more but I don't want lvkeyes to think I'm BL reincarnated....hehe. ]

God, NOBODY could be as bad as BL. I have stopped posting there; it's been nearly 2 weeks since I posted there. I don't understand how he gets away with what he does there. It was good to see that he didn't get away with it here.

I don't know why I get accused of being inflexible. On some boards no matter how much certain posters might have enough loose screws to fill a hardware store, unless they persistently violate the listed posting rules, an act of God wouldn't get them thrown off. They don't even end up on moderated mode. Not me. I'm flexible as hell. I don't give a damn whether I've written rules that cover every imaginable possibility or not. If someone is causing problems on this board I deal with it the easy way. They go bye-bye - rule or no rule.lvdkeyes wrote:It was good to see that he didn't get away with it here.
Re: MIND GAME
I did pick Denmark, kangaroo and orange. Denmark is the only country that I can think of that starts with the letter "D." Are there any other countries that start with a "D?" But what if I had picked koala? The last letter of that animal is an "A." In which case, I then would have picked "Apple."
We all know about kangaroos and koalas. And they can even be found in the same country! So why did I/we pick kangaroo and not koala? Therein lies the mystery!
