Unwanted PMs

Over the past couple weeks, including yesterday, I have received a few complaints from some board members saying they are receiving unwanted PMs from other board members. The board software does not provide a means for me to prevent PMs from being sent by one person to another, however the board does provide a means for you to do that yourself. Here's how:

You can prevent his PM's from ever reaching your Inbox.

1. Go to USER CONTROL PANEL
2. Click on the PRIVATE MESSAGES tab.
3. Click on RULES, FOLDERS & SETTINGS
4. In the drop box under ADD NEW RULE, select SENDER and then click NEXT
5. in the next drop box, select IS and then click NEXT
6. in the box below SENDER IS, type or paste in the screen name of the unwanted sender and then click NEXT. Remember, spelling counts. If you misspell the name, then this method will not work, so make sure of the spelling.
7. In the drop box, select DELETE MESSAGE and then click ADD RULE

Now, any PM's that individual sends to you will be automatically deleted instead of arriving in your Inbox. There are also various other options available to you in those drop boxes.
