The exceptions include nude classical statues and political protests that feature nudity. The new guidelines exclude text, so erotica remains permitted. I don't know any other reason for visiting tumblr. I have no idea what other content it offers. My gut feel is that tumblr will die. However, it seems there may still be a way of viewing 'adult' content -

I'm not sure what this means. Even though reflagging and sharing will be banned, presumably no one can ban screen shots.
My other thought is that anyone who has been collecting thousands of tumblr photos may eventually be able to offer them somewhere and make some money
