No? Perhaps you have a better term for it . . .

In any case, I won't be changing anything about the topic.

Differences of opinion regarding proper postings regarding vaccines? Up to Moderator to decide the answer, which has been done.

I wonder how valid this remains in the modern era, where many thousands of people fly between continents on a daily basis ?
A strain of flu in one continent could be in another a few hours later.

Then if they are persisting with different vaccines, then would it make sense to take (for example), a European vaccine in Europe, then if you head out to Asia for the second half of the winter, take the vaccine there as well ?

My thanks to puan for suggesting the B-P Clinic. I went this morning and received the flu shot in about 15 minutes. There were a number of younger Thais, maybe college students, in white shirts and black trousers, getting some sort of blood work or tests. So a lot of eye candy.

They had all my records on file from previous visits to B-P Hospital.

I failed to get my Thai friend to have the flu shot. He is afraid of needles!

I can understand that. One time I got the flu shot. It worked. I got the flu . . .

My last flu shot, courtesy of the US Air Force was in November 1965 -- Not a good experience - hurt like hell and a few minutes later, I passed out.

So I managed to avoid them ever since. During that time, I have had the flu once and that was over 20 years ago.

You cannot get the flu from a flu shot.
