#1 Ting Tong Red bar permanently closed tonight

One of the few bright lights in Sunee Plaza closed permanently today. The German manager, Mario, is in hospital and
will fly back to Germany in a few days for medical treatment. Mario always cheerful with his ‘good morning’ greeting.
Sadly, the lights have gone out on another Sunee Plaza bar as well as the restaurant and hotel.
A truck was carting away fans and furniture tonight..

After a four year run, Sunee Plaza's Ting Tong Red bar, restaurant and guest rooms closed permanently tonight. Lack of enough revenue due to low season caused the gradual closing of the TT "Beach", Khmer-Thai restaurant, travel office, and pool hall. This culminated tonight in the last moving van being loaded, departing about 9 p.m. Everything in the business was stripped: beds, flat screen TVs, fans, refrigerators, the oven in the kitchen, and bar accessories -- even a cheap plastic laundry basket. TingTong Red: R.I.P.

Not sure how the Sunee can survive without this anchor business.

I predict Sunee will cease to exist in 10 years time. It will be an Arab plaza instead,
