No sign of it yet (Sat. night). Even the wholesalers haven't informed of the new prices. T.I.T.

According to the Bangkok Post, the following are the new prices:

Perhaps if the price increases are not yet being charged, they'll start after what was already in stock has been sold out.

The Bangkok Post ad states that the reason for this excise tax has nothing to do with the government wanting to make more money.

The Nation ad states that the government will bring in 15 BILLION baht per year with the new taxes.

I'm sure the reason for the taxes has nothing to do with the government wanting 15 Billion...

And whoever conjured up the rationale for those tax increase variance tables needs to go back to school and take a course in basic arithmetic.

I quit smoking cigarettes 3 months ago and have gone from drinking beer like a drunken sailor 7 nights a week to maybe having 2 or 3 beers once every week or two when out on the town with friends so they can do whatever they want with the math. My boyfriend enjoys making our fruit and vegetable drinks in our mix master with fresh ingredients from the market so they can stick those new fruit and vegetable drink taxes up their asses too.
