Good point. One step to promote tourism would be to ensure short immigration queues and therefore guarantee a good start to everyone's trip. As a good example, Malaysia manages immigration in a fraction of the time, often with no queue AND manages to take fingerprints.

That's a direct competitor for tourists, at least in some segments of the market.
