Try News Steaks & Grill. It used to be called News Cafe. I thought it was mediocre then. Since it changed hands and is now News Steaks and Grill, in my opinion it is on par with the restaurants mentioned above.

I agree, the new owners/management team have got this place turned around and on the right foot. Imported, tasty steaks and reasonably priced, this place and Steak and Co. on Soi Lenkee are favorites. I would pass on the Beefeater, too many disappointing meals.
