Why so many "fliers"?

As usual, no one wants to believe that their friend, loved one, relative, etc has committed suicide but fact is that is the case. Here in Thailand "fliers" are either accidental related to drinking or other problems which leads to leaning over a balcony and gone in seconds. Otherwise they are suicides! Rare that there is some ulterior motive such as murder.
