How Addicted to Thailand are you?

North Korea just launched another missile and we could be on the verge of WW III and all I seem to be worried about lately is my connecting flight in Seoul in 3 weeks on my return to Thailand. The lives of tens of thousand's of people could be at stake and all I am thinking about is how pissed off I...

Re: China and its Influence Now and in the Future

All sides understand that war is not an option , and that of course includes N. Korea who would be immediately annihilated. That only leaves one option as a solution, and that would be "Compromise". My projection is that Kim will be allowed to maintain a miniature nuke or two in his missi...

Re: Thailand approves $2.2 billion in help for rice farmers

Any time someone mentions the "B" Word ($Billion$) in Thailand you just have to cringe...or laugh..or fart...or something. At least that's what the rice farmers are doing about now. How does that saying go..." Thais for Thais "....as they continue to rip each other off at every c...

Re: China and its Influence Now and in the Future

Fountainhall, you raise some very valid points. I don't think there's any missile system (or combinations of systems) which would provide 100% protection against hundreds of missiles being firing simultaneously, but at least THAAD and other offshore systems such as Regis could provide a modest level...

Re: Cock Sucker

Great topic...caught MY attention! The reverse is not the case, as they are all straight. When did that ever have anything to do with it? There used to be a boy working there named Mike who was tall, slim, cute as Timmy Martin on Lassie Come Home and hung like a thoroughbred race horse. I first spot...

Re: China and its Influence Now and in the Future

I agree that history shows us that using economic sanctions for matters of national security has limited effects and usually takes years to actually have a measurable impact on the country being sanctioned, but I really don't think this is the primary U.S./S. Korea/Japanese objective. I think they a...

Re: China and its Influence Now and in the Future

Fortunately, for everyone's sake, Trump is relying on his Generals to determine the best strategy for dealing with N. Korea and China moving forward. If he could only keep his mouth shut in the process. I believe that time is on our side and Kim knows it. The longer the sanctions stay in place the m...

Re: China and its Influence Now and in the Future

China Sucks...that pretty much sums that up. Maybe if they stop infringing on everyone's copyrights and flooding the global markets with their cheap crap they can actually start gaining some respect. They don't want U'S' military presence on their border, thus they will continue to support N. Korea ...

Re: Plastic Bags - it's Time Thailand Charges for this Pollution

An environmental improvement in Thailand may be best aimed at developing biodegradable condoms. Are far as outlawing plastic bags goes - the food vendors would go out of business.

Re: Yingluck to be Arrested

If what the insiders are saying is true - arrangements may have been made to stage the exile of Yingluck to avoid an uprising by her supporters. In exchange, the 50 million baht that Yngluck had down on the table became one of those "donations". Of course that's just a drop in the bucket a...
