Day Night Hotel

Today at 3pm as I walked through the street of Day-Night Hotel in Pattaya on my way to meet a friend for coffee at Gaffee. I noticed 2 large tourist buses unloading Chinese tourists in front of that hotel. When I walked backed at 4:15pm there were 3 other buses offloading Chinese tourists. Total num...

Who turned on the Lights Boystown?

The reason for this post is that my trip to Boystown was so much different than the one I had a few weeks ago. Then I found Boystown empty, Lights along the terraces at many venues were out and hardly any customers at 2 of the 3 venues visited. So pleased to see the difference this time!! I am baffl...

Re: Winner Bar 23 June 2018

Winner has a winning formula, they have cheap drinks, non pushy staff and in my opinion they make no effort to be everything to everyone, having said that the bar does not work for me as they have on offer almost entirely twink if not fem boys and from the number of customers they attract there is ...

Re: Winner Bar 23 June 2018

I am happy that it was understood that in my post I did not say that I felt any bar had higher or lower quality dancers, as I personally never understood what that meant. I just heard some people say that as a way to justify higher prices at some venues.

Winner Bar 23 June 2018

Even though Sunee Plaza is really slowing down and many bars are lacking customers there is one place that seems to be doing well against that trend. Two of us visited Winner bar last night. Most drinks are still under 99 baht. There were plenty of customers even at 9:30pm and over 20 dancers who se...

Re: Some positive Boyztown news..

I hope that works out. My friend and I visited Boystown and it was really a ghost town. We both remarked that we had not ever seen it so dark and deserted. We arrived early at about 9:15pm. Maybe because of renovations there were few lights on. No tables or chairs in the street and also no motorbike...

Re: Another long standing bar bites the dust

Even those that have not been to Memories (Oud's Bar) recently may want to take the opportunity to try and stop by before the bar closes. It has served the community for many years (18?) and with Jack now 69 years old and Ralph 79 the closing will give them a chance to have a different social life, ...

Re: Another long standing bar bites the dust

A few years back, Oud, Ralph and Jack would close each year. Then Jack and Ralph took vacations traveling. Oud went on some with them it gave Oud a great opportunity. Jack plans incredible vacations. I have great respect for Ralph and Jack who came to Thailand to retire. Met Oud and together started...

Re: N Korea

Would it be a start to agree to officially declare an end of the Korean war, get a commitment from the USA to not to invade North Korea and lift sanctions nor seek a regime change, and a commitment from North Korea to halt and stop further expansion of its nuclear program? With continuing discussion...

March for our lives

Gaybutton suggested I post an email that I sent to several of my friends. The email is as follows: "I know some people do not like their email address attached to an email blast so I have not attached any. You all have heard about another shooting at another school, this time in Florida, that k...
