Re: No Problem For Nazi Symbols in Thailand

A Thai friend turned up yesterday with a T-shirt with the word "Heroin" across the front. It seemed unwise to me but he had no idea what it said. He just liked the look of it. He also has one of those tattoos that says "Born again but still my mother's son". It's a Christian mess...

Re: No Problem For Nazi Symbols in Thailand

It's a small stall that moves about. At the moment he's in front of the Avenue Mall most nights. Sometimes he's nearer the Royal Garden Plaza. There's Nazi stuff as well as Soviet Era memorabilia and other junk. There's a small bronze head of Hitler but I didn't see any banners at the moment. In the...

I hope this link from Yahoo will work but I suspect this story must feature elsewhere on the web.

Re: Overhead Cables

There are some Sois with overhead cables in Pattaya that I really hate walking underneath. You can hear the electricity arcing and fizzing and at night if it's raining there's a proper light show.

Re: Mosquitoes in Thailand

I’ve been visiting Thailand since 1990 and more recently spend two months a year in Pattaya. I get one or two mosquito bites but have never used any repellent as I really don't seem to need it. When I do get one it is fairly obvious but my Thai boyfriend complains about mosquito bites that really do...

Re: Sawatdee

On my desktop I cleared my Browser Cache and it's now working for me but I note that there are no new posts for the past two days. My Android Tablet still can't access the site.

Edit: Sorry it's just updated and there are new posts now.

Re: Boystown Soi

The bars in the XBoys Soi all managed to stay open during the work done there even if it did get a bit difficult to access at times. I don't know if it put anybody off but I could see no reduction in numbers at XBoys.

Re: Eros bar - Sunee Plaza - update

There’s something about a visit to Eros that I often enjoy at the time but then don’t feel that proud of myself with hindsight. But if it’s there and open again I dare say I’ll pop in occasionally just to check out the cushions.

Re: Finish or demolish? Waterfront Suites near Bali Hai

I wish they would demolish it but that would probably cost more than finishing it. It's such an eyesore.

Re: Eros bar - Sunee Plaza - update

Nayte told me that many of the boys are freelance. It surprises me that they don't make more effort to entice people in. I usually have to pull open that awkward door myself with nobody having encouraged me to enter, unlike nearly every other bar. I certainly can't walk past Winner Boys next door wi...
