Re: R3 Sauna Bangkok Raided by Police

I haven't been there but no great loss as far as I can see.
Their rip off charges for over 50's (4 X the normal charge) says it all.

Re: GB's Annual Songkran report - 2018

Bangkok Post are saying the total number of road deaths, during the 7 days of Songkran, was 418. https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/1447887/songkran-road-death-toll-up-again As pointed on the first page of this thread the average number of people killed per day on the roads in Thailand is 66 s...

It isn't just the Bangkok bars. All the Pattaya Karaoke bars do the same. They have been like it for years.

Re: GB's Annual Songkran report - 2018

They used to do this stupid accident statistic job in the UK until about the 1970s when they realised that, in fact, LESS people are killed on the roads during a holiday period. It seems the Thais haven't caught on yet. Their annual death rate on their roads is 24,237, or 466 per week,or 66 per day....

Re: Oscars bar beer in Boyztown out of business..

ThIs popular bar has been bought and sold many times over the last few years. I doubt it is permanent, unlike the much larger place that closed in January... It does surprise me that many places,at that far end of the Soi which were so badly affected by the roadworks, are still open. Some had virtua...

As I posted earlier, the cable jungles are not power cables rather they are information type cables.

Re: Get your air conditioners serviced - don't wait

I get sick because of the pollution caused by the shit in the system. That’s why insist they clean it.
You can’t compare it with a fridge!

They may have a contract but never normally get them cleaned. I have had to insist on it several times.

Re: Mosquitoes in Thailand

I have a real problems with the bastards. They seem to attack me when they leave my friends alone. It’s non stop every time I go out. Anywhere near Pattaya is bad but in the countryside it’s 100% worse. All times of year, wet or dry. I spray Sketlonie on before I leave the condo and that seems to do...
